Melvena S. Talley is a Clinical Registered Dental Hygienist based in Richmond, Virginia. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2013, followed by an Associate’s Degree in Dental Hygiene from Northern Virginia Community College in 2019.

Melvena currently serves as the Continuing Education Chair for the Greater Richmond Component of the Virginia Dental Hygienists’ Association (VDHA). She has proudly represented her Component as a Delegate at the state level for four consecutive years (2021–2025). Nationally, she served as an Alternate Delegate for the American Dental Hygienists’ Association (ADHA) during the 2023–2024 term and was honored to serve as a Delegate at the ADHA’s final House of Delegates in 2024–2025.

With unwavering dedication, Melvena continues to advocate patient safety, the advancement of the dental hygiene profession, and the preservation of member integrity within both state and national Dental Hygiene Associations.
