Ryan Maphis is a resident of Virginia Beach and works in private practice. Her leadership journey within the Virginia Dental Hygienists’ Association (VDHA) began at the grassroots level, serving as Alternate Speaker from 2021 to 2023 and as an Alternate Delegate to the American Dental Hygienists’ Association (ADHA) in 2023.

She currently serves as President of VDHA and is a member of the Colgate Oral Health Advisory Board. Ryan is deeply committed to patient education and remains passionate about advancements in dental technology that improve patient care and outcomes.
